#3 on my
101 List was to finish Taylor's ISR lessons. ISR is
Infant Swim Resource. We finished her classes on Tuesday (4/20/2010). Her last 2 lessons involved us being in the water with her and learning how to interact safely in the water. ISR is not really swimming lessons even though with older children swimming is typically taught. The purpose of ISR is to teach a child how to save themselves incase they fall in the water and to build a childs confidence around water. Mr. Tim (her instructor) taught her how to flip over and float and began to teach her a little swimming, but mainly taught us how to teach her over the summer. Her lessons were supposed to be 6 weeks long however we finished them in 4. We went everyday (M-F) for 10 minutes a day for 4 weeks. Here are some pictures from her 4/2/10 lesson and then the last lesson, which includes Mommy and Daddy.

Mr. Tim was an awesome instructor and Taylor loved him (she had her first crush on him...hehe). She misses him a bunch! Mommy and Daddy miss going to swimming lessons and getting to watch her in the water.
Below I am posting 2 videos that I did on March 26th. I will go ahead and warn you now....I am not good with a video camera.
WOW! looks like she did GREAT!!!
