#14 CHECK

Saturday March 27th I had my first Stella and Dot Trunk Show at My Mom's House. It went great! We are still trying to get orders for the show so that my Mom can get more free jewelry. I would really like to get 2 or 3 more orders. If you think you might be interested go to www.stelladot.com/allisonf and look at the jewelry. You can place an order there as well. Just be sure to put Suzanne Davis as the hostess so you can get the discounted shipping rate. Hope you like the products!
Mom has a tendancy to go a little over board on refreshments! But I love her for it!
It you want to earn free jewelry let me know so we can set up a Trunk Show at your house for your friends! We can do a week night for 2 hours as a come and visit type show, or we can do a Saturday 4 hour come and go event. I really need a party for April so if you are interested or know of someone who would be please let me know. Also, a good way to do it is for 2 people to do it together...just another way to socialize and invite more people!

Sweet Memories

When I was younger my family would go to my grandparents house on friday nights for dinner and the adults would play cards. The 2 meals I remember most from Friday dinners was Scout Stew and Spagetti....Memaw style (it is more of a brownish sauce...nothing like your Preggo from a jar). I hated both as a kid. My parents would force Lee and I to eat it. As I got older it became less difficult to force them down. I just did it quickly and moved on. Well, last night my mom made dinner for Morris and I and she made Memaw's Spagetti. I was really excited about it for some strange reason. I sat down with my first helping and couldn't eat it fast enough. She even made the same kind of bread that Memaw always made/burned....except this time Morris and I cooked it so it wasn't burned. I returned to the island for a second helping with both my mom and Morris looking at me kind of funny. I am not a spagetti fan at all. But something about that spagetti! It brings back such sweet memories! I didn't know that a memory could make your taste buds broader, but I am glad that it can!

March 10th

Today is a very special day for Morris and I. Today marks our fourth year of marriage! It doesn't seem like 4 years since we got married and went to Italy! Time has just flown! I have been reflecting on all that we have done in the past 4 years and it is pretty crazy! We just don't know how to slow down...I guess we like it that way. Morris and I have had the same song since the day we met. It is Tim McGraw's She's My Kind of Rain...here are the lyrics. This song still makes my heart skip a beat and I can't help but to just stop and listen.
She's my kind of rain
Like love in a drunken sky
She's confetti falling
Down all night
She sits quietly there
Like water in a jar
Says, Baby why are you
Trembling like you are
So I wait
And I try
I confess like a child
She's my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
She's my kind of rain
She's the sun set shadows
She's like Rembrandt's light
She's the history that's made at night
She's my lost companion
She's my dreaming tree
Together in this brief eternity
Summer days, winter snows
She's all things to behold
She's my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
She's my kind of rainSo I wait
And I try
I confess all my crimes
She's my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
She's my kind of rain
She's my kind of rain
Like love from a drunken sky
Confetti falling down all night
She's my kind of rain
She's my kind of rain
Oh, rain on me
She's my kind of rain

Thank you to everyone who has supported us 100% during our relationship and life together! You all mean so much to us!

Catching up!

I am doing my best to try to catch up! I haven't felt like doing much lately so there are a lot of pictures that I haven't posted. So I am going to just post them all in this post.

2/6/2010: This is the precious shirt that Aunt Laura made for Taylor. We got it in the mail less than a week after telling her! So thoughtful! We just love it! Taylor is pretty proud of it too!

2/13/2010: Don't you just LOVE this hat! Taylor wouldn't take it off that day...which was fine with me b/c I love seeing her in it. Morris brought it to her when he came back from a business trip in Seattle! He got me a new coffee mug from Pike Market Starbucks----the FIRST starbucks! pretty cool! WE were so happy to have him home!
2/14/2010: Valenites Day! Morris and I decided just to do V-day for Taylor this year. It was fun! As you can tell she loves her backpack! She is going to start helping mommy and daddy carry her toys and books!

2/15/2010: Many of you know that Taylor is not a fan of having her hair touched. We finally figured out how to get her to let me comb it and put it up. We bought her a set of combs that are just hers. If we use one of those then she will let us mess with her hair.
2/17/2010: I just love pigtails!

2/28/2010: Julie and I took these pictures with our phones at church! They are so sweet!

Hopefully I will have more soon!
