Merry Christmas!

This year was really special! Taylor's first Christmas was awesome but Christmas with 2 was amazing!
Morris and I actually bought gifts for each other this year (#92). It is the first time since 2006 that we have exchanged gifts. We finished being elves around 11:50 and were making a cheese ball for Christmas dinner when we both realized it was 12:01! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Morris suggested going ahead and doing our Christmas together. I thought it was a great idea! We both grabbed our gifts from hiding and wrapped them quickly then met back in the den to exchange them. Morris went first and got: New undershirts, lots of dress socks, 2 golf polos, a pistol cleaning kit with mat, and an academy gift card. The kids got him a "Dad" t-shirt!

Then I got to go and he got me: mascara, an open/close umbrella (#66), and a new pair of awesome Black Leather Boots (#77)! LOVE THEM!
The kids got me a really cool cheese grater! I used it immediately for the cheese ball.

We finally got to bed around 1:30. We were back up at 6:00 feeding Mac. We thought any minute we would be hearing Taylor. We waited....and waited...and waited! Morris got really anxious and decided that we had waited long enough. So at 7:00 he went to her room and woke her up! (I know what you are thinking....we would give anything for her to sleep like this on a Saturday...but not Christmas Saturday! **side note: this is the only Saturday she has EVER slept past 6!)

Taylor is the type that takes a little bit of time to wake up.

She was in shock when she got to the den.

First she had to use the eraser!

Then she went straight for a wrapped present from Mommy and Daddy.

Now that she had that urge behind her she moved on to Santa's gifts.

Even the ones for Mac!

He didn't seem to mind.

She finally went back to opening presents...

And then she got distracted again by the Kitty inside!

She named her Tutu and reunited her with her Mama Lulu! Lulu joined our family last Christmas!

She finished her gifts and then helped me open Mac's.

After finishing Mac's gifts she noticed that her stocking was full!

Mac Slept on Morris most of the time.

Happy Girl!

Happy Boy!

Christmas Night we had our second annual Christmas Dinner

I didn't think to take pictures until after we had started eating.

And we celebrated Aunt Sharon's Birthday

I hope your Christmas of 2010 was as blessed as ours!
