Taylor's Birthday Party

Friday Night we had some close friends and family over to celebrate Taylor's 2 year old birthday! We had beef stew for dinner and cake and ice cream. Here are a few pictures from the party.

Mickey and Minnie balloons that would not cooperate for the picture!

Taylor's presents:

The McQuillan's got her a Mrs. Potato Head and this wonderful camo hat, It says Hunting Princess on the front in pink! Obviously daddy loves it!

Grandma and Grumps gave her a "gears" game and Bubble Lawn Mower

Aunt Sharon Gave Taylor 2 books and a Christmas dress. She loved the kitty book and kept kissing each kitty on each page.

MamaZan and Papaw gave Taylor an Alabama Tricycle!

Taylor went straight for the big box!

Taylor's Disney Cake!!!
Patiently Waiting for cake!

Blowing out her candle!

REALLY enjoying the cake!

Going for a ride in wagon with friends:

She also got:
An Alabama Tee Shirt from Jeremy; An Alabama talking Football from John Mark; A Mickey singing clock from Rob; a Cabbage Patch Baby from Lee, Laura and Blair; 2 pairs of shoes from Cristen; Magnetic Dolls from the Mike and Tonya; The Disney Story Book from Aunt Janice and Uncle Donald; A beautiful pink coat from Paul, Julie and Sadie; a Pretty Dress from Cynthia and Charles; Talking book from Uncle John and Aunt Mary; 96 Pcs of plastic Food, Halloween shirt and 2 pairs of boots from Memaw; shapes block from AJ; and a puppy purse and squeak shoes from Ceci.
Taylor also got a very special gift. It came in the mail that day and we opened it at the party, but the funny thing is we didn't take the time to really figure it out until after the party. The gift was from Taylor's Great Grandpa and June from California. It is a recordable book from Hallmark called 'Bright & Beautiful, a child's blessing'. I sat down with it after most of the guests had left. Memaw, Aunt Sharon and my parents were all that were left and we were looking at each of the gifts. I picked up the book to make sure My Dad has seen it. I opened the front cover to show him how it is a recordable book only to find a picture of my Grandpa taped to the inside. I began to turn the pages to read the book and realized that Grandpa had taken the time to record his voice reading the book as well as adding a few special words to Taylor. I am sure the book was not particularly expensive but this book is absolutely priceless to me and will be one day to Taylor as well.
Thank you to everyone who came to the party and for all the wonderful gifts!!
